artisan drinks

I was introduced to Artisan’s Marketer Berlinda by Rebecca, owner of Social Vine. The request was to create a series of photos for social media that would be original, creative, elegant and matching the existing brand. So I took the role of creative direction and came up with the idea of using bright block coloured background and create very simple GIFs by using the ingredients present in the tonics as moving props (you can see the GIF version by clicking the link below). I started with a sketch of the image that popped in my mind (you can see it at the end of the slideshow), agreed on the props that would be used and the background colours that would be used (sometimes two, sometimes one to create variety) Sourced everything and started working on the sets.

The bottle laying down had a bubble coming toward the label on the front, so I had to shoot all the bottles standing up on the same background, and photoshop each one into the existing set, it was a very big job, but it was so worth it, it’s one of my latest favourite work.
