Food photography has always been my favourite thing, so the food styling naturally came along with the practice. My Fine Art diploma work even revolved around (fake) food. (You can see this work in the ‘Experimentation’ category).
I sometimes just shoot because I'm baking or cooking something nice, or because I have an idea for a random shoot. I usually think about the styling beforehand and either create something with what I have at home (I have a lot of things) or go shopping for fresh props such as herbs and fruit. Then I create my set. Some of the pictures here were also made during a food photography challenge.
